About Juan Nicholas
At that time, I was working as a Janitor in Saint Mary’s College in Moraga, California. During the first six months of work in Saint Mary’s College I learned all the different aspects related to Janitorial work. I learned to clean carpets with portable machines, such as the buffer and other types of equipment. One day, I decided to ask my supervisor if he could let me borrow the buffer machine to clean the carpet in my apartment. One of my neighbors noticed what I was doing and asked me if I could clean the carpet of his apartment. I remember that I charged him $20 for cleaning his entire apartment. It occurred to me at that moment that I could buy my own buffer machine. The buffer that I bought, at the time, cost me $600 and the portable $130.
This was the beginning of my business. When I started this business, only with my buffer and my portable, I distributed fliers and business cards to the stores and people I knew all over the nearby vicinities. As time went by, I became known for my work in the vicinity and more people asked me to provide my services. After acquiring more clients, I decided that it was to time to take a second step and that I had to make a major investment and buy a truck-mount steam system. My clients were glad that I had upgraded to better and more professional janitorial and carpet cleaning equipment. Little by little I continue investing in more janitorial equipment. Currently, I am an owner of 4 janitorial vehicles with truck-mount steam systems. To this day, I continue having the same clients that I had since 1992 and I have also made many more clients during all these years.
The name of JJ&CC was given to me by one of my friends and clients. The name stands for Juan’s Janitorial and Carpet Cleaning and we are committed to providing you the best service.
